The Republican National Convention took place this week in Wisconsin. It was a well-orchestrated event where many speakers struck a nationalist and populist tone. In many ways, it remembered me of the Trump 2016 campaign. It also showcased a party that is now very unified behind Donald Trump, something that was actually not a sure thing not so long ago. After the assassination attempt on Trump, I think that there was tremendous attention on the convention and I wouldn’t be surprised if Republicans got quite a bounce in the polls. Donald Trump’s acceptance speech started out well, but in the second part, Trump went off script and I think didn’t do himself a favor by doing so. Watch my latest video here.
