Democrats, Stop It!

A big chunk of the political media coverage in the mainstream media during this past year was outrage about something Donald Trump said or did. As the result of the election has clearly shown, however, an important part of the American electorate does not share that outrage. My message to Democrats therefore is this: Stop scandalizing each and every move and nomination Donald Trump makes. Anyways, Republicans now have a majority of 53 seats in the senate. Let Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth be their problem.

Second, Democrats should stop talks about who would be the strongest contender in 2028. I have seen this happen many times before. In order to deal with the pain of losing an election, politicians immediately start to talk about the next one. They want to forget what has happened and move on. While this may be human nature, it is wrong because something did happen. If a party is in the minority, as Democrats now are in all three branches of government, there is a reason. And unless you fully understand, process, and own up to it, you’re just bound to repeat the same mistakes.
