My Latest French Publications on Election Campaigns

I am regularly publishing articles on election campaigns in French. This week, I would like to attract your attention on three of my latest pieces published in the French newspaper l’Opinion:

– Many political ads look and feel like propaganda and are therefore immediately dismissed as such by voters. In this guest article, I explain the purpose of political advertising and the key to make it much more effective.

– If you are seen as winning and/or a threat, you will become a target for attacks. In this piece, I discuss the five basic strategies on how to deal with allegations.

– Have you noticed? People who swarm about the miracles of social media in election campaigns are almost always the ones who make their living with social media. As I explain in this piece, there is few academic evidence to suggest that social media alone wins elections.
